Colocation is a service in the form of providing space that has been equipped with the necessary things such as electricity and bandwidth by a data center in a facility where customers can place servers and other network devices to operate. In other terms, colocation is like a hotel for customer-owned devices. This service makes it easy for customers to run devices and infrastructure reliably 24/7 without having to build or have their own supporting things such as redundant power lines, UPS, power generators, redundant internet lines and others.

Using the HostBadak colocation service, basically the customer only needs to prepare a server or other device (eg a router) that will be operated from the HostBadak data center, no other devices are needed. In certain cases (advanced topologies) customers may need to set up their own network switches. But, in general, customers only need to bring the server to be operated to the HostBadak data center.

The location of our data center is in the TIFA Building, Jl. Kuningan Barat 1, South Jakarta. We also have alternative locations in Bogor, West Java, Indonesia.

Basically, our colocation services are unmanaged. That means the service that we deliver to customers is up to the server can be reached by customers or service visitors from the internet and customers can log into the server normally. For customers who do not have the technical personnel to carry out daily server operations, they can use our managed service which we offer separately but can be a complement to this service.
